I was walking around a green today to park my trolley near the next tee when I heard a shout of 'look out'. One of my fellow competitors in my playing group had thinned a chip shot right across the green, and it hit me on the foot, which actually stopped it from running into some deep rough. I believe the correct ruling is that there are no penalties and the ball is played as it lies, but could somebody confirm this please?
Or at least "four."
