Have been contenplating changing my grip on my putter for best part of a year now and wondered if anyone in here has had any lucky with the thick strokesaver putting grips.
did it take long to adapt to the new grip or did you see instant results?

I'll be honest and say I had near-instance results by removing any trace of wrist breaking I had.

Do you mean superstroke grips?

I just had a 3.0 slim put on an odyssey vline pro today. Good on the carpet test. Looking forward to playing it on the weekend.
My gamer is a scotty golo with the SC pistolero grip, this is just an experiment, but excited to try it
My regular playing partner has one and is an excellent putter, though in fairness he was an excellent putter before he got one.

I'm a fan of the SuperStroke grips. Not the massive ones, mid slim 2.0 is probably my preference of the ones I've tried.

Just ordered a new putter with a normal grip to see if I notice any difference, got a SuperStroke to put on if I don't like the traditional one though.

Best £15 I ever spent on golf, getting an Ultra-slim 1.0 fitted to my Yes! Tracey. Feels only slightly more bulky than the old grip, but I found it much more comfortable and easier to set my hands properly on the putter.

It hasn't eradicated my ability to 3-putt quite yet, but it has certainly cut down on the number of 3-putts I have. ;)

Loads of people I play with have these grips. The ones I have played with for years haven't noticeably become better putters and the ones I haven't played with as much haven't exactly left me with the impression that they are getting any huge benefit.

Practice is the key to better putting, there are no short cuts IMHO.

Well, that's a surprising reply....

Who's saying it's a short cut? I know a few people (myself included) who have seen a benefit from using them.

Had an Odyssey jumbo grip on my #9. Felt it helped on the shorter ones but there again I was working hard on my putting and holing out from 3-6 feet so maybe the practice superceded the benefit (or otherwise) of the grip

I have just put a Superstroke "the claw" on my Scotty Detour. They are a long grip and weigh around 100g.

Early days yet, but it does feel much nicer than the original (8 years old and slippy a hell) scotty pistol grip that was fitted.

Only played one round with it and i putted no'bad.

Same here and I certainly don't bother practising my putting

These guys also practice a lot, and it doesn't change what I have seen from people I play with. Simply changing to one of these grips without practicing isn't going to make you a better putter

To be fair I changed mine and was putting much better (think you'd agree). It's not the magic solution though and needs good fundamentals and a decent stroke
