Strange Run of Scores

Played in a medal today and one of my playing partners (19 handicap) had a weird run of scores. Bogey on each of the first four holes (par 4's) then scored 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on holes 5 (3), 6 (4), 7 (4), 8 (3), and 9 (5). Hole pars are in brackets.

I've heard of somebody starting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 before too, but that was quite a few years ago i think.

Anybody else had a weird run of scores?

I once had 3 pars in a row that shocked me a little!

No, usual mixture of bogey or double.
