Strange putting day today...

For some reason recently I have been pretty consistent with my putting form inside 6 feet and haven't had more than one three putt in any given round in about the last six. Annoyingly though, all that time, I could never seem to hole anything longer than about 6 feet.

Today, I managed to hole four or five putts greater than 10 feet but had three silly three putts... so strangely, my putter was hot, but at the same time it wasn't!

Ah well, got a nett 69 (1 under) and got a stableford adjustment on a hole where i had an 8, so another 0.8 cut. Seem to be on a bit of a run of form at the moment!

Good scoring but I guess a case of what might ahve been if the putter had behaved. Without wishing to be condescending, off your handicap you will get a few three putts, but if you can really learn to love the short stick and maybe get it down to one 3 putt per round offset by 4-5 one putts then you'll come tumbling down.

Good shooting none the less.
