Hi guys been off work for a bit so absolutely hammered golf recent.y seemed to develop a bit of a strain in my back had a look on google and it seems to be my lower trapezius was wondering if anyone on here as done something similar and how they recovered or if there's any physics etc out there who can give me some tips! Most things say icing it should help so looks like a bag of peas will have to do!

Trip to the docs, Voltarol gel, cold then heat then cold then heat and rest it as much as possible between rounds.
I fell on a glass bottle when I was 14 and did some serious muscle damage so I suffer from time to time with muscle problems. I use these and Diclofenac tablets to keep it under control. Also make sure you warm up well before a round concentrating on your lower back.

Being tall, playing loads of cricket, rugby and golf means I have real back issues. I use diclofenac to manage the pain when it flares up. I would recommend a trip to the osteopath to get some manipulation done. Helps me loads. Go in bent over, hardly ale to hobble and skip out.

Cheers guys got some gel on it and I've been recommended to use a hot water bottle before bed get some heat to it hopefully s 3 days rest should sort me out and then back to it Tuesday fingers crossed
