Anyone had their medium dry cider??

Getting it in at the club and a few guys have said it's a nice drop, aint had it myself so am interested what folks thoughts are?

Need some decent weather to boost sales though...not exactly going to fly off the shelf at the current top temperature of 6 degrees!!:mmm:

A very nice drop. I drink cider most of the time and that is up there with my favourites. If the weather is nice you will sell shed loads.

It's very nice, but it's also fall-y doon juice. 6% abv I think.

A few years ago I was working at a hospital in Brighton and our local had this on draught. We won the quiz, but I've got very little recollection of doing it ;)

I make a drop myself, last time i tested it was 10% :)

Didn't bother last year but the 2010 vintage was 18 gallons. Still got about 50 bottles and that stuff gets better the longer you keep it.

Might just have to try a bottle of this when we're down at The Hirsel on Sunday, Allan.

Ah,it's not up and running til a week tomorrow I am afraid Del!!

Course is coming on now, crying out for growth as with all courses but it aint bad considering the freezing weather, still getting frosts which is not helping.Enjoy!

Strongbow is a very poor impression of cider. Having good quality selection of drinks, not just cider, can only help to attract more people to the club including society days. I know that when I am selecting a club to join I'll be looking at what they serve in the bar.

How long is not long Aztecs? It'll only be stocked March to October where we should go through about 15 kegs maybe.

You should be fine. Anything around 2 kegs a month is fine. It's not like brown beer which goes bad a week after you've tapped it. But if you're only going through 1 keg every couple of months (as we used to - Woodhall Spa isn't known for it's Cider drinkers unless they're in the local boozer drinking Strongbow), it gets past it's best.
