Storm scam emails and texts

Just heads up folks that I've had both an email and a text telling me to click the link to proceed with my insurance claim for the recent storm damage...I haven't had any storm damage!

I'm sure 99% of you would do what I did and delete them straight away, but in case you're waiting for news about an insurance claim, or have elderly relatives who might click on the links unwittingly, just be careful and have second look. ?

I deleted most of them, I did email back the nice Nigerian fella who wanted me to clear his $20m though

I ignore all of these sort of scams. Delete as soon as they come in.

I get loads at work. We have phishing and junk buttons we can use to report them. What's annoying is our company also keep sending out fake phishing emails to check we're doing it right. As if I don't get enough crap in my inbox.
