Currently losing 2-3 at home.

1st goal conceded was a ridiculously deflected own goal that was going miles wide,
2nd goal conceded was a ridiculously comical defensive cock-up. Not so unlucky then,
3rd goal conceded was a penalty that was never a penalty.

And they've just had a decent penalty shout rejected.
They've scored two really good goals and are comfotably the better team ................... and they're losing.
Now, I don't particularly like their style of play, but they have been unlucky today.

Slime.

More shocking refereeing. Sterling clearly controlled it with his hand then turned into the defender and bounced off him. never a penalty in a million years!

Agree they were unlucky but "comforably the better team"?

I'm watching the same match and thought for most of the fist half Liverpool looked like scoring every time they got the ball and were well in control. Current stats show more posession, shots, shots on target and goals for Liverpool with Stoke having more corners and fouls (predictable???). Just shows how football is about opinions.....oh, 4-2 now as I'm typing.

PS I'm not a Liverpool fan, it's been a really good game for the neutral.

Like was said when all the Scousers were crying 'Poor us' after the City game, some decisions you get, some you don't.

Nothing unlucky about it today - we got one lucky decision but we fully deserved the win.

And the Chelsea game too. Yes everyone gets some for them, some against, but for some people to still believe that they even themselves out is naïve at best. Never a pen either.

Can't be bad, not a vintage performance and still score 5.

Tbf tho Chelsea deserved the victory regardless of the so called bad decision. As did Liverpool today.
Suarez & Sturridge do look a quality partnership.

You're starting to remind me of Blackpool under Holloway! Sod the defence, just score more than the other team. Simples.

In all seriousness, Liverpool are one of the most frightening teams I've seen going forward at the moment and look like they can score every time they attack. That said, need to sure up at the back if you're going to really compete at the top. You are at a disadvatanged however, as you are forced to play Britain's worst footballer at right back each week.

Deserved the victory ? Really ? I must have watched a totally different game.

A draw would have be the fairer result but with correct desicions by the ref we could have sneaked the win but there was nothing between the two teams on the day.

I honestly don't even think it was a pen. Suarez was running away from goal& didn't have the ball(he knew what he was doing IMO)
