It's only been a week since I last touched a golf club and I'm going crazy. Can't even spend my time on here as there is no reception. That said I am loving Scotland. You fellas north of the border are very lucky!

Been nearly 2 weeks since I played! I'm itching to play again. x-large bucket of balls tonight in order methinks.

Plus I'm getting out (early) on Saturday morning. Yippee!

I have been going to the range but I am missing my week day evening games so much I am starting to think about getting up really early and playing before work.

Join the club. Last time i played was 2 weeks ago, and i had to come off the course after 4 holes with a bad back.

It did mean i could watch the whole of the Ryder Cup on Sky, but now i am just feeling sorry for myself. News of an Indian summer does not help.

Hows the back now?

I havent played since beau desert and with HID in a car accident last week scuppered any plans for golf..... But happy days..... Going up north tonight so I have golf tomorrow, saturday, Monday and Tuesday next week!!!!! Can't wait!!! I've had massive withdrawal symptoms for 3 weeks!!

No better i'm afraid, but i have got a nice array of pills to pop courtesy of the Doc.

Wow that would drive me nuts, pills or not. I had a week in the summer with a back injury and I was going out of my mind. Hope its something that will pass.

Thanks for that.

Starting to get worried as have a golf trip to Saunton planned for next month. Had the occasional twinge before that lasted a couple of days, but nothing like this.

Thanks Tiger. Its only now that i can't play for a while that i realise how important golf is to me !

I live for it, it makes me happy, my wife likes when I play as she knows it will make me happy and keep me out of the way.

Just done my back in too. Haven't played for about 3 weeks but I usually only play about once a month anyway but practice quite a bit inbetween games. Went to hit some balls today and pulled something in my lower back after 4 shots.

Only had a range session last Saturday and hadn't played since I plays with Sneds at our member guest day and the medal the day after. I'm going to the range tomorrow and out with the roll up on Saturday before the stableford looms on Sunday

That's a shame.

Greens were great and course was too. Played off the whites and shot a Gross 74 (par 70)

Playing Nairn West on Friday, Tain Saturday and Fortrose Sunday.
