I got a pair of adidas tri-lite 3.0 golf shoes(off the top of my head) for my birthday off herself last October. She got them in American golf where I get most of my stuff anyway. But after no more then 15 rounds of golf since I got them the inside of the heel is after wearing away and starting to cut my heel. I don't have a recepit cos I got them as a present but I know a few guys working there. Is there a year warrenty or anything like that on golf shoes other then waterproofing. Cheers

Definitely take them back.

There should be a warranty for manufacturing defects, and the Sale of Goods Act still applies. AG should be able to find the transaction if you can give an approx date of purchase or the wife's credit card number.

im sure every item sold within the EU has tome come with a years warrenty. If the shoes have only played 15 rounds they will still look newish and should have no issues.

Shouldn't be an issue, I returned a pair of Stuburt DCC shoes recently (not to AG but to www.golfshop247.co.uk) not an issue! And although it took a while, I now am a proud owner of some Footjoy Icons… FOR FREE!

Really chuffed!

Hope your situation works out!

Cheers lad's.I'll call over to AG at lunch time and see what can be done. I'll keep ye posted on how I get on.

Sounds suspiciously like wear from 'heel lift'. Do they fit you well and have you had then laced up correctly ?

Ya they fit me perfect, like a glove and I always lace them up as tight as I can. I hate having shoes loose on my feet. Even if it was from heel lift they should wear dat much after a few rounds of golf.

I have a pair of Addidas Tour360 4.0 and mine did exactley the same, the lining in the heal wore out after about 6 rounds. I should have really taken them back because there not cheap shoes and should last alot longer than that but i never got round to it and to be honest i don't even notice it now.

I think it's quite a common fault with them which is a shame as they are amazing shoes.

They might do but it might depend on what condition the rest of the shoe is like because if they look like they 'aint really been looked after and look abit batterd and worn they may just say it's down to you not looking after them propley but it's always worth a try.
