Im still messing with my grip since my last post about changing from the interlock to the vardon ...Trouble is im hitting my driver and woods pretty straight with it but im spraying my irons all over the place with it and im not as cosistant with the strike either also i seem to be more accurate with the interlock using my new irons...
Im also aware that it will take a few more rounds to get used to the new clubs but should i persist at the expense of accuracy for a while or go back to what i used to do :D

I think the answer is simply pick one and stick with it and get a few buckets down the range under your belt so it feels more natural. Perhaps get whichever grip you choose checked by a pro to make sure it isn't too weak/strong and that it is sitting in your hand correctly

In what way Bob?
If you mean the actual club grips the answer is no.
Irons are only new they have Lampkin crossline grips.
Driver has the original MacGregor grip
3W and 5W has its original wilson grip
Wedges have the original wilson grips also.

don't waste any more time on the Vardon.

Nowt wrong with the Vardon. I've been using it for 30 years, and I'm still alive, and have full use of most of my facilties.

But it's definitely horses for courses. If it feels wrong, stick with the interlocking grip. Favoured by the Golden Bear, he felt it stopped his ( relatively small ) hands from becoming too active, so he could control his fade, rather than have an uncontrollable draw/hook.

Use the Vardon or if you have small hands the interlock grip. Whatever you choose make sure that you do the grip 100% correct, there are loads of places on the internet that show you how to hold the club properly.

My advice is to master the golf grip before you do anything else. I moved from a baseball grip when I first started playing to Vardon overlapping and although painful making the transition my game has improved a great deal and has been the best thing for me.

Would i then benefit maybe from changing the whole set to a size thats right then?
My irons as i said are only 2 rounds old as is the 3Wood and the Hybrid.....
If i knew this was the problem id change in the morning....Iv a hand size of 8" from middle finger to wrist
and 3.25" longest finger....
Anyone got any idea how big my grips should be.....?
Also my hands are large. Not huge but pretty big.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to provide an informed answer. All I would say is the grip of the club is the connection point between you and the club. I had Golf Pride jumbo grips put on my irons and wedges and will get the same on my woods for consistency.
