Hi all,
Id just like to say im still alive lol.Ribs are still giving me hell so havent even picked a club up.Im going to have to have a lesson on how to swing one when im fit enough.Ive 2 weeks off at xmas and what am i gonna do cos i cant see my being able to play even by then.
I hope you all have a good one and your all swinging it well.

I went to see my doctor today, and as I was leaving his surgery, he wished me a merry christmas, which heartened me because he must think that I will live at least until then. Let's hope he's right.

I don't know about that. All I hope for these days is some good fresh air and excercise, good company, and the occasional stunning shot. But there's always hope that my opponent will play badly enough for me to sneak a result.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.Last couple of days has been a bit better at last.I nipped up my local course last nite and saw a few mates and i got the usual wind up about starting all over again lol.Not quite sure when il be back playing again or even being able to take a swing on the range.
Il just have to wait and get right and in the meantime il keep coming back to the forum to cheer myself up as ive missed all of your great company. I never thought i could make friends with so many people on a website,but i suppose its just like real golf where 99.9percent of golfers are genuinly friendly and great company.(god these tablets do funny things to your brain lol)
