It's all well and good quoting stats that purely suit your argument, but that doesn't equate to it being a better more competitive league. The standard is dire and stats only work in favour because eof the mediocitiry of the other 8 teams in the top division.

Saying standard is dire uncalled for, saying the standard is equivalent to league one in England is probably fair. These are still professional sportsmen from all over the world providing a spectacle that healthy numbers want to go and watch/follow.
EPL is the best league, doesn't mean every other league in small countries around the world is dire, just not as good as EPL, perhaps La Liga aside. Watched a bit of Sydney v Brisbane on BT earlier for example, not better than SPFL but was still a decent watch.

It's not uncalled for, it's my personal opinion that based on the stats quoted at me it is dire in comparison to what it's was referring to.

I never said all Leagues below EPL either you've mentioned that in your post so please don't put words in my mouth so to speak as though I'm saying all leagues below EPL are dire, I was referring to SPL only and stand by my opinion of it as a top level league.

I often watch a lot of lower league football and find it enjoyable. I also am not disregarding people making a living there again those are your words. Please Next time you quote a post don't adjust it or its meaning to suit yourself and call me out for things I haven't said about leagues or things that haven't been said. SPL was mentioned nothing else was focused on here.

Top to bottom gap in ok is 40 points. That's 2points per position drop on average. All it's 30. That's 3 points position.....

Ok you have tidied it up a bit but I still fail to grasp the point you are trying to make.

The dire comment may have been a little harsh.

My point whilst written atrociously. Was imply that stats don’t prove a thing. You quite simply you’d used one that helped your argument, when there were plenty that could prove otherwise.

guys guys, look it’s just morphing into another squabble about differing opinions and it’s gone off topic away from Stevie G and back to the SPL . (As was predicted earlier)

Agree to disagree and move on, there is no need to repeat the same message 3 or 4 times.

Can we all agree that He is going a good job at Rangers irrespective of people’s perceved standard of competition , especially as they beat Celtic today.
