Stephen Gallacher - Masters top 10

Based on a couple of thoughts........

1) Golf is about confidence at their level and Stephen did fine last year at the Masters but an 81 in rnd 3 killed him off. With a good season last year, bloodied at the RC and giving a decent showing and qualifying for the Masters yet again this year.

2) He has said before that Augusta suits his game and confidence is high


I don't see him winning but a cheeky each way flutter could be rewarding.

Haven't heard him mentioned at all.

Forecast is for rain most of the week so the course will play softer and even longer which will suit Rory and the other big hitters.

Although we see many times at Augusta unfancied names appearing in top 10 for 2-3 rounds, so not a huge leap in fortune for Gallagher to have a good comp

I take your point and who knows he may do it. Personally I don't think so but as a Brit I'll be cheering him on anyway especially if he's in contention come Sunday as I will with any of them (and European players)
