Gorgeous irons matey, I might end up with something similar from the range as my pro Michael Bannon is having a new indoor tech centre built onto his shop at our club and is getting the titleist fitting equipment, im not sure what all it entails but does include shafts with 6 different click in heads plus cameras covering 3 or 4 angles etc so hopefully I might give this fitted melarky a go.
I was chatting to him today and he told me that Rory Mcilroy had his irons adjusted this weekend, kind of didnt work too well.

Nice looking clubs there MVP. Keep us updated on how you find them when you get them out onto the course. They should give you a confident start to the season.

Good luck.

DCB this is what Im worried about, do I stick to the irons ive been confortable shooting below my handicap all winter (my long irons arnt great at the moment but short game is king) or do I switch to a confidence boosting new set?

MVP, nice irons, gotta be a very consistent good ball striker to get the most out of them though haven't you, very small sweet spot from what I've read particularly in the short bladed irons, sure you know what you're doing?
Are they as heavy as people say?
What shafts have you gone for?
Will you lose yardage on your current irons? i.e. being forged and likely having traditional lofts?

Nothing wrong with a bit of 'confidence' going into a new season as long as it's a bargain like MVP got!

I bought the MP600 in Jan and it's now beginning to behave itself a bit better, hopefully if I can put the ball in the fairway it will make the game easier. I'm also in the process of re-stocking the bag with more user friendly irons, at least thats what they say on the packet!

If only we could play this game without thinking about things, it would be so much easier.

Not half as much a steal as the next guy that gets them when you find out you cant use them, cmon whats a 22 handicap doing with clubs like that.

So sorry mvp, i could have swore you said on another post that your handicap was the same as medwayjon and his is 22, is your handicap higher than that , 28 maybe,do you play of the womens tee,s.

I you always know mpv is beat when he threatens violence, i will report you to the ladies captain, ha ha, lighten up mate its only a game.

Good stuff mate, Were they custom fitted in store? If so what was their set up? range, video etc? Looked at the web page and Essex is within a reasonable travel distance.

Have been considering getting my Di7`s customized to me as I feel the shop I got them from did not know their arse form elbow. All my shots are flying far to low.

Htl I got fitted for thee irons a few weeks back but the store will double check it on tuesday when i piock them up!

The Chatham Branch in kent is probably nearer its about 20mins from the M25!
