So anyway, I'm not playing that well at the moment - never seem to get it together till about August...

But my putting has been concerning me.
I feel I've been 3-putting a lot, that I'm taking more putts than I should be and I'm not making enough birdies

But looking back on SS2 I find that this month last year I was putting more or less as badly - a few more 3-putts but the number of putts per GIR and the number overall is very similar. Number of birdies is about the same too. Overall scoring average is within half a shot as well.

So not as bad as I first thought - probably down to dodgy greens and being a bit rusty from weather related lay-offs over the Winter.
So all I need to do is turn these 3-putts into 2's or 1's and Robert's me Father's Bruvver!!

If only.....

I just set a new PB of 93 today, so I'm well chuffed, but still had 3 balls in the water and 3 3-putts, all of which were due to pulling out of the putt.

Sadly one thing SS2 doesn't give you is how the 3 putt happened. Mine are nearly always from leaving my first wayyyyy short

I could track my stats but don't see the point. At the moment I definitely FEEL like I'm not making enough birdies on par 5's..... but how exactly am I supposed to fix that? become a monster hitter?
