I always find it a bit strange that so little mention is made of round vs ribbed/reminder grips. Quite a lot if clubs come with ribbed grips as standard, sometimes the owner not even knowing there is a different type, then they get them rev ripped and wonder why the new one feels different.

Good read. Very underestimated aspect of the game.

I especially like the Leadbetter article. Good advice re grip thickness citing Nick Price preferring thin grips. I have small hands, so "static" fitting based just on measurement would suggest thin grips. However I can get very wristy through impact so I actually prefer and play better with standard or slightly thicker grips (0.58 on a 0.6 butt works great for me).

Glad to see Tour Velvet still going strong.
