Stand bag

I bought a new Nexus stand bag about 4 weeks ago and really like it. It seems much lighter than my old Cobra standbag of the last 6/7 years.

Plus:
Very light to carry
Easy access exterior pocket for range finder
plenty of pockets
flat base when standing
looks very smart

Minus:
For some reason the head covers on my hybrids keep falling off - they didn't with the old bag and it's flippin annoying having to run back up the fairway every time it happens. Putter also susceptible to this unless you put it back in the bag carefully ensuring the cover also fits in the slot.
Despite the bag angle being fairly upright, clubs do seem to work their way out - a bit odd turning round to find your driver half hanging out of the bag...
Pockets are quite small (useful that there are quite a few) - especially the bottle pocket which is very tight.
Won't fit on my Motocaddy S1 trolley if I don't want to carry for any reason - the metal frame at the bottom prevents the trolley strap brackets from closing.

I started out writing this to recommend the Nexus and now seem to have more negatives than positives. However, as a carry bag with a half set of clubs I've carried most rounds since I purchased it and do like it very much. I think they missed a trick by not including the smart club locking system they have on the Nexus cart bag.

Thanks for the review need_my_wedge.

It sounds as though it could get a bit annoying head covers falling off and clubs working there way out

I dont usually carry so is this ^ normal

Maybe not quite as fashionable a choice but the Dunlop Tour stand bags are very good. Value for money, good number of slots and there's quite a few pockets. Worth a look in Sports Direct?
