Stand Bag

Hello,

I currently have a Mizuno carry bag which I love - It has large pockets on both sides, plenty of other pockets in all of the right places, and I don't want to get rid of it.

However, one of the legs on the stand has bent a bit out of shape, and the plastic base part which connects to the legs has snapped ( the bit which presses into the ground pushing the legs out)

My question is can I get this fixed anywhere, or will I have to replace the bag ?
As I say I'm really happy with the bag so would be loathed to get rid of it, as most of the others I've seen don't have the same pocket combination.

It depends how old it is. You might want to write to Mizuno (think they still have their customer services in Winnersh) and point out how fantastic the bag is and how you don't want to change it and see what they say. I had a Mizuno bag about 10 years ago and the strap split. I wrote a similar letter and got a new strap free of charge.

Alternatively if you are looking for a new bag I'd be tempted to look at the news 2008 Mizuno Twister 3 bage for about £100

Mizuno make some great kit, but things breaking on bags is not uncommon (for all makes). I think the leg bent is just one of those things (I've never managed not to mangle a leg on a stand bag!) but it you feel strongly about the base, I'd get in touch with Mizuno.
How long have you had it? Do you feel 100% that it's not your fault...in which case...try and get them to help. Can't see it would be viable to get it fixed, these things usually aren't.

the straps on my bag (Nike variety) are hanging on by what seems like the last few threads. i wouldnt say i have overloaded it in anyway over the season and a half that i have used it. was fancying a change anyway, i just hope it doesnt give way at the furthest corner of the course and i have to use the grab handle for the rest of the round.
