So I'm best man at my best mates wedding and have the duties of oranizing the stag do. I'm looking to get a bit of help from a professional company that can help me organise a off road driving experience and maybe a bit of shooting.

So my question is has anyone used a company like this ? There is tons of company's like this but one iv looked at is chillie sauce but it has mixed reviews. Can anyone shed any light on them by any chance.

Let me speak to my Best Man and ask him who he used for mine.

We went to Derbyshire (near Uttoxeter) for two nights. Stayed in a really nice (huge) barn conversion house and did Clay Shooting and off road quad biking. It was absolutely awesome.

As an aside, I used Chillisauce to book his weekend to Berlin and couldn't fault them at all to be honest. The whole thing was flawless from start to finish.

What ever happened to a evening down the pub?

I may have had some bad experiences, but the worst ones I've been on have been organised to within an inch of their lives, be here, do this, go there, start drinking at 11am at 3 pints an hour or you are a puff, etc etc. Best one I ever went to was a round of golf in the afternoon and down the pub in the evening. Old school.

If you don't mind cheap accommodation then companies like Chilli are pretty good. They get lots of activities available and you can get some good deals. However, if you want to stay somewhere decent then they may not be ideal. Alternatively if you arrange accommodation yourself then the activities are not worth it as add on's as they actually work out more expensive (usually) than just going direct to someone themselves, e.g. I wanted a "strip limo" for the stag from the airport to the hotel. A total of 20 mins and they wanted over £100 per person, so effectively £1k cab ride! They also wanted £100 per person for a beer bike in Hamburg. Found out directly it was £25. They essentially build the accomodation costs into the activities to make it seem like it's a good deal.

All depends what you want to do really, but as other have said, if I can offer any advice, don't swamp the whole weekend with activities. The most important thing on a stag do after the drinking is the R&R!!

Very good advice.

On mine, we were away friday night (after work), saturday night and back sunday.

Friday was casual night down the pub for beer and food once everyone had arrived.

Saturday was Clay Shooting in the morning, quad biking at 1 then we were back at the house by about 3 or 4pm...We had a couple of hours 5 a side football with some beers, then one of my mates cooked up a Chilli for all of us, then we headed out to the pub in the evening. Any more activities would have been too much but what we did was just enough without feeling rushed.

It depends what you all like, but I honestly couldn't fault mine (and this is coming from someone who was adamant that I wanted to go abroad for mine).

Chilli sauce did a decent job on the one I organised weekend before last. We did coasteering, and lots of booze in Bournemouth. It was good and the big advantage of using them was the attendees paid direct and I didn't have to faff around chasing them all for money. There was maybe a small premium to using them, but they got us in a decent enough city centre hotel for a good price and took all the stress out of it.
Coasteering was ace by the way, highly recommended.

Lad in work has been to 3 stags do's this year so far Riga,Prague and just back from Krakow, he says there the best ever for the ladies.lol

Apparently I'm banned from having a stag do if we ever get married! Got to say though if it does happen I'll arrange it myself and will be a simple affair of round of golf in the morning for the golfing contingent, head home for the 3 S's! then up town for a pub crawl around the circle line ending up purely by accident somewhere ladies take their clothes off!!!. Simple and effective

My last one though was an overly organised affair with timescales to stick to for Clay Pigeon shooting, then quickly moving on to off road quads, moving even quicker onto bar to bar it made it to soulless and not enjoyable. Whatever you choose make enjoyment the key factor not how many things you can squeeze in.

Just back from Cologne.

Top notch city and wonderful beer, simply wonderful.Drank my body weight 3 days in a row and was fresh as paint every morning......if I had drunk half of what I did in carling I would have been talking to the white porcelain telephone without doubt.

Britain is dreadful for fun nights in comparison to European cities,in fact no, it's just dreadful.
