How does this even exist? As if handicap dictates how far you hit it...

I have seen expected yardages per club per HC level!

It's just an average thing and really shouldn't be taken seriously!

The gps will tell you it's 200 yards to the front and you then assess the wind, uphill etc and then decide which of the clubs in your bag will either get you there or lay up in the best location!

The gps wont say use your 5 wood that you don't own

Well I found a site that had a range yardage per club for High, Med, Low handicaps. I used it as a starter when I began playing, and you know what I find it to be pretty much spot on for my level.

I left it on the GPS app, and that's what it recommended.

I'll add though that I probably won't be using it again.
