STABLEFORD ADJUSTMENT -- Another Handicap Question........????

Just a Quickie
Yesterday, 1 of my mates I played with, a 15 H/Capper, had a nett 73
But he had a BLOW UP, with a 9 on a par 4 ... !!

Is it possible he will get a CUT for this round...........??

The 9 becomes a 6 ( Doub. Bogey ) , therefore 70, or am I picking up this Stab. Adj. rule incorrectly............??


Was gutted for him actually, as he had a wild SLICE drive on our 2nd hole Par 4, Out Of Bounds, and reloaded for a 6, and was 6 over at turn, 9 shots left for back 9, but after his BLOW UP, obviously it was harder
Other than that he played really good golf and was Praying it was going to be his 1st CUT of the season.......

Depends on the SI of the hole. He gets dropped to a net double bogey.

Also depends on the CSS of the day.

It's nett double bogey. If it was a shot hole, it will be reduced to 7. i.e. one more than the score which would have scored one stableford point.

Hole is SI 3 , so I presume that takes it to 71 , fingers crossed CSS 72 , so he gets his 1st Cut
