The application form for the draw was quite clear that named golfers were needed, and that photo id may be requested. I presume this is to stop people selling tee times on. But if one of my group had to drop out (work reasons) and I got a mate in, is there any serious risk that we'd be asked or that he wouldn't get on?

Am I worrying about nothing, as it's a long trip to make for nothing...

Cheers for any input or experience.

You are allowed to change one of the names on the original booking (presuming you used the advanced booking) free of charge as long as its not person who booked the times.

Just email them with your booking reference number and explain you want to change a name, telling them who you want to remove and of course the replacement golfers name.

We done it last year, no problems whatsoever

was going to post the same, on the booking form I said name changes allowable as long as not lead name.
