Is anyone else having speed issues with the forum? This week has been dreadful. I've been on for 65 minutes tonight, read half a dozen posts and made 2 of my own as the pages are taking weeks to load. Other sites, including GM main site, load perfectly well. In fact the forum pages were fine earlier on and then just slowed to a crawl.

I know MikeH siad there was a problem but it seemed that this had been sorted.

Becoming a pain as I'm getting so far behind with posts I'm going to miss something.

Yeeeeessssss iiiiiiit waaaaasssss sloooooowwwwww laaaaaasssssttt nigggghhhht tooooooooooooooo.

But it seems fine atm.

Can anyone explain the science behind it please. I thought it was when it was busy. But last night it was only me and 2 bots on ( or whatever you call those things that log on but don't exist - damn boring to try to chat to, donchaknow )

Apparently its something to do with the server.
When the grundle chip is mis-aligned with the cache drivers by more than 1Ghz, the intel preocessors cant synchronise with the dilithium crystals. Scotty cant do a thing with it and and you have to get Spock in to fix it
HTH
Live long and Prosper :D

Bob could you please be serious, you know that the problem is far worse.....there is a hole in one of the wires, electric spilt out everywhere, posts all over the floor! :D

I have had some turtle doing the 100 meter posts this week. I remember MikeH saying the server should be sorted mid April, maybe they are a little behind with the work.

Sowwwyyy :D
I am pleased however that it's not just me suffering with the slow connection.
I thought my lappy had slowed to a complete halt so I did a factory restore.
Emptied everything and restored it to how it was the day I bought it.
Unfortunately after spending an hour installing all my stuff again, the connection was still rubbish but the lappy is now brilliant.
I reccommend a factory restore to anyone who has had their computer for more than a year.
Be sure to back up your stuff though because you'll lose everything.
I'm glad the grundle chip and dilithium crystals are working ok now......touch wood :D
