used one of these yesterday for the first couple of holes due to it being a bit foggy.
It was like hitting a stone...
anyone else used these?

The XV is the Pro v1x equivalent. You'll either love it or hate it. Not a fan myself, prefer the standard Z star.
I use Prov1x and these are nothing like those. Ive used a white XV before and that wasn't too bad, but the yellow felt like putting with a stone off the beach.
. Gave up on Srixon when I discovered the B330RXS and AD333 tour which are my favourite balls
White and yellow are the same ball, will be purely mental if you feel any difference. Cold weather probably hasn't helped.I use Prov1x and these are nothing like those. Ive used a white XV before and that wasn't too bad, but the yellow felt like putting with a stone off the beach.
Err, homer - call me a pedant but isn't the 333 tour made by Srixon?
Its not often I use a yellow ball but I have used a few down the years and, almost without fail, they all seem to be "harder" than the equivalent white ball.
NXT Tour S is a prime example
I could be wrong, it could be me, maybe I expect them to be harder so they feel it..?
I think Fundy uses these so he may be a long soon to give his opinion...

Im surprised you all think they are the same ball as the white, i even tried a yellow standard Z star against a white one( its a couple of years old version) felt totally different to the white on on the chipping green.
very clicky
