srixon z star

Z-STAR is my ball of choice and I think its a great ball. However I also happen to like the Bridgestone RX. I certainly wouldn't say that there is a significant difference in terms of playability or length.

I would happily play them both but my preference if pushed would still sway towards Srixon.

Just shows that you need to try a number of balls to find the one that works for you best.
Personally I like Z-Star/ProV1 but I'm interested in these Bridgestones. Which is equivalent to ProV1 or X?

It's not equivalent......it's better. I would bet most if not all golfers to tell me difference in a PV1 or the PVX when only going by the shots you make....not knowing what ball you hit in the first place. I can tell the Bstone easy when putting....it's like butter.

I've been using ProV1 for a while and tried the Bridgestone B330-S over the weekend and it felt pretty much the same.

I'll have to wait until I play at my place again to be able to make a better comparison though ie. distance and spin on the greens.

I got a dozen callaway i(s) and I thought they did not go as far off the tee, the felling with the irons was amazing and they seemed to spin more than the pro v1x too.

..... balls to srixon Z star, they went much further and were less affected by the wind! anyone else had similar experience!

Wouldn't know about wind, but they do go well, even for a dodgy player like me.

i've been told not to bother with "premium" balls at my h/c but have found a few z stars and used them until lost and they played no different to any others I use, I wish I was consistent enough to know what ball to stick to. :o

I like the RXS (Bridgestone) and they really are a revelation (golfs best kept secret). I like the Z star too and these have become my two favourite brands except for when its really windy as it was yesterday when I find the TM TP red (and black but reds are softer) work better

i have been using pro v1 for the last 12 month and tried some z star last week and i did not 1 bit like them so bought some new callaway tour iz and thay were the same while i was out playing i foind a bridgestone 330rx and found it pretty much the same as the prov 1 so

wish i was in a position to play one ball all the time but i lose so meny i just play what ever i can get a good deal on. i have only just noticed that i play better with some balls haha

I don't seem to get the same feel and control on the greens with a Z Star.
I find them pretty poor for a top range golf ball tbh.
I'd rather use an NXT Tour.

Z Star is a very good ball, does what it says it does and is reasonably durable I find.

Best round I've had was with one. too dear for me with my standard but it must have done something right.
