Yes and yes. All I've worn for a couple of seasons and find them surprisingly hard wearing for cabretta. Lovely soft feel and a good fit for me. Oh - good price too!

I prefer the Mizuno Skintite myself.

I use them, excellent for the price. Usually a good bit cheaper than other cabretta alternatives, which is why I use. Find them to last well.

Are either of these a quality and cheaper alternative to the FJ Pure Touch. That's what I currently use (and love) but replacing them is far from cheap. Are the Srixon/Mizuno's all leather?

I see Ping has a new all leather glove out, the Sensor Tour...

If I wasn't paying then I'd use Skintites, but I am paying so it's Srixons for me unless I find a deal.

The Srixons & Mizunos are all leather apart from a stretch patch in the knuckle area. The Skintite is closer to the Pure Touch than the Srixon. Neither are like for like replacements imo, but the Srixon, at a third to a quarter of the cost of the others, is more than good enough for me.

I used to play the Titleist Players glove. Brillinat glove, lasted too despite it being thin.

Decided that I wanted a change for something a little cheaper. Came across the Mizuno Skintite at £8 each and took a punt on hal a dozen.

Truely fantastic glove. Comfortable straight out of the packet. Good, snug fit.

As for the Pure Touch. Massively over-rated glove IMO. I much prefer the Skintite to them.

Get yourself down to your pro shop/AG/DG an try the Mizuno glove. I bet you're surprised.

Wettest I have seen it in over 20 years a member, lost remarkably few days to the weather, we have stayed on tees and greens mostly although the 5 holes over Brockswood lane were shut for a week or two but I suspect that was for safety as much as anything else.

Where do you play yourself ?

I play at beadlow manor out the other side of Hitchin, it's been a bog all winter, really really bad. I played at Welwyn last year and really enjoyed it and it's on my list of potential new clubs when I am looking to change in september.
