I'm thinking about trying some of the above out instead of using pro v1s all the time to save my self a couple of quid anyone used them what they like from tee to green?cheers in advance

Awesome golf balls. I bought some last week on a whim and thought they were great, and I believe golfdepot have them back on offer. I used my normal ball until the 4th (par 3) so I knew I was warmed up and swinging well and had 9 foot backspin, actually span it off the green.

For the price I think they are the best ball you can get, providing you get them on a offer.

Be interesting to see how the ad333 tour hold up against the prov1x/prov1 I been using around the greens spinwise judging by what others are saying the srixon is a great ball.only one way to find out play one this weekend lol

On a similar note, i've been considering switching to Chrome Softs from Pro V1s. The only reason for this is down to the difference in price.

Has anyone made the same change? How did they find the Chrome Soft in comparison to the ProV?

Sorry for hijacking the thread, just didnt want to start a new one about such a similar theme.

AD333 Tour is great! Also look at NXT Tour S model in similar price bracket.

Bricktop - personally I can't get on with a CS compared to PV1 they just don't feel right to me. But I know others have raved about them... give em a go at the price they are at currently. Double check if getting the old or new versions though. New have two "++" on teh Chromesoft lable.

I had a box arrive today, was going to try them on the back nine but i was having so much fun with my dodgy pro v's
i'll try them at the weekend.

Well I gave the ad333 tour a go yesterday in a swindle with a few friends on the links over 18.i thought this would be a good test because of the wind and fast greens ect so couldn't wait to try them against my usual pro v1. They impressed from start to finish . Long off the tee held well in the wind plus I had a few nice 6 irons into the green bounce and check within a foot and on the wedges they would stop dead and playing a chip and run they seemed nice to control as well as putting,so fantasic really a few times I hit a nice iron shot and hold the fast greens no problem and my playing partners would be rolling off the greens using nxt tours ect.so Overall very impressed i can't recomend them enough .

Another ball that performs very well and is well priced. Not a soft as the NXT S (which is almost too soft), but definitely not a typical Cally rock! Definitely worth trying a sleeve.
