The cat is put of the bag for the new Srixon Ad333 tour ball, a 3 piece ball, to be availbale next year.

I do wonder how this ball will fit in the range .... I assume it sits right between the AD333 and the ZStar in pricing terms, but performance wise I can't see why it's necessary as the current AD333 is a very good ball and I doubt the AD333 tour can compete with the ZStar for feel/performance, so is their really a market ?

I saw the GM guys on twitter were playing with a new Srixon quite recently , so it doesn't take Sherlock to work this one out ;)

It will be a cheaper "Premium" ball ( if that makes sense )

For people that want a good three piece ball but don't want to pay £30-40 for them

Probably replacing their Trispeed which was a good ball and was also a 3 piece.... It also spun more than the 333......

It'll probably compete with the likes of the Titleist NXT and Wilson's DX3 and Bridgestones E series balls....
There's a big market for mid range balls I would think....

This will be an offering to compete against the Callaway Hex Chrome, Taylormade Rocketballz Urethane and Bridgestone B330-RX/RXS. Tour type urethane balls for slower swing speeds. NXT Tour/Tour S are not Urethane, but sit in the same price range as well.

In the US Srixon have had a slower swing speed version of the Z-Star called the Z-Star SL available for a year or two. It has never come across to the UK before so I think it's fair to say they have decided to capitalise on the popularity of the AD333 in the UK market and release the current US Z-Star SL ball under the AD333 range name. Makes sense and I can't wait to try this ball!

Makes sense to capitalise on the brand name and place in the market place the current model has. Depending on how soft and how much it spins around the green it could be worth looking at and is bound to be at least £7-£10 cheaper than the premium models. I'm always up to try anything new!

I've been using the Callaway Hex Chrome recently, found it performed a little better for me than the Z-Star overall but still really like the Z-Star. I'm not a big fan of Callaway as a brand so this has a very good chance of become my gamer!

I hope it is more durable than this years Zstar. I have prov1s that have had a months use in better condition than a zstar that has been out of the bag twice.
Srixon make a decent ball but they justvdont last compared to the likes of Titleist.

funny you should that, i used a brand new z star and shredded the be-jesus out of it from the green side bunker. So in total it lasted two strikes. Still love 'nike tour one d'
