If only he could putt. I can't imagine how many majors he would have. Just think, he's won 30 something tournaments without a short game that's up to standard.

Putting is shocking and did his best to miss the tap n too! He will need a massive turn round this season or he will not be picked for the Ryder cup

Any reason? its not the Ryder Cup. Rather young Speith became youngest ever winner unless Rory (my bet) can play the back nine in 28!

Its Bubba for me , £5 each way at 22/1 , had Westwood at 40/1 and he is blowing it again sadly ................EYG
Westwood needs to putt like sneds, positive pop putting or he'll never get a major, crack handed and superstroker is a plaster not a remedy.

It's remarkable how Westwood manages to compete as well as he does without a hyper short game. He is now 40 and if he hasn't managed to solve the problem after all this time is it realistic to expect him to ever find the missing link?

Wonderful chip on 15 - great to see him striking the ball well again and getting himself back up there.

Good fight back. If only he could have got off to a good start he'd be right in contention. Think it's Bubba's to lose though. I think Westwood will still be competitive in the majors but the putting will always prevent him. Maybe the links greens might suit more
