Spin rate

Have used a Galloway razr fit driver with stiff project x shaft in for a long time now.Thought I would give the m2 a hit.
on track man Galloway spin rate was around 4300 always hit it high with very little roll.(normally straight or small fade)
m2 spin rate down to 2200 a lot lower flight.
Galloway carry average 220 roll 10 yards swing speed 100mph
m2 carry average 240 roll 20 yards.swing speed 106mph
M2 now on order.
could not believe the difference.

maybe if you used the CALLAWAY DRIVER instead of a Galloway your spin might have been different.

Yep. Spin is a distance killer with the driver.

If you're hitting out of the middle of the club you should be able to squeeze a bit more from a 106mph club speed.

nothing wrong with Galloway clubs a mate used to make them, used one himself and he was off +1

Wow, big difference, what shaft was in the M2? 6mph swing speed is a big jump though are you sure you were not just swinging easy to convince yourself you need a new big stick

Sorry Calloway.the Calloway has been great over the years but got to see what's on offer.Still stiff shaft (stock shaft I think).The m2 feels so much lighter so maybe that's why speed has improved.

My shot shape with driver sounds similar to yours, ok maybe with slightly more fade 😁

A little high and a little towards the toe is good. I was just simplifying by saying the middle.

It is towards the toe as well. And getting the shaft 1inch shorter than standard

I would have preferred a Callaway but that's me :thup:

Your increased swing speed could be down to shaft weight , head weight or both. According to most manufactures, lighter shaft and/or lighter head will equal more club head speed. Based on strike this should equal more ball speeds.

But enough to of that, treat yourself to something shiny. The pong t35, Calloway big fat Betty alpha, Taylored make or srixoff all do some lovely drivers this year but my favourite is the titty-list 34dd but the misses says I'm not allowed to demo one
