As per the title, has anyone got any recommendations for spikeless shoes, particularly wide fitting ones?
Cheers

not out yet, but adidas are advertising the adicross which look awesome. Heard nothing but rave reviews on the range from Ecco too.

I have become a massive fan of the Stuburt Urban. Love them because they are leather, comfortable with great grip and pretty cheap. Paid £30 for a pair of the original urban shoes in brown and have just paid £40 for a pair of the new Urban 2s.

No complaints about addicros from me. I drive to the course and range in them.

Footjoy sport. Very comfy and imo very well made.

Mine were my worst ever shoe purchase.
Very hard on the soles of my feet, and both the
Soles of the shoes have come unstuck.
Also pretty useless in the damp.
Of course I just might have had a rogue pair.
I think I will stick to spikes.

Surprised to hear that. I'm usually quite sore on shoes and mine have stood up to everything that's been asked of them. I prefer the spikes when it's wet, but the spikeless are great for the links fairways (when I'm on them!) in summer.

I have been using True Linkswear show for the last 2 years. Barefoot technology and totally waterproof - a bit harder to get than the mainstream brands tho!

Also just ordered a pair of Puma Faas Mesh for summer use which look like they should be good.

I have a pair of Adicross 2's in a wide fit and they are good but my Ashworth Cardiff's are superb and waterproof too. I found they size up on the small size so had to go up 1 size. Some deals to be had on them at the moment too as new model just been launched

Ecco are super comfortable. Uppers in Yak leather - first find your Yak, peel and cure. Only downside the non GTX not waterproof so fine weather use only.

Have a pair of Ashworth Cardiff's - very comfy but at times make your feet a bit hot

Also have a pair of Adizero Sports - very very light and comfortable - just dont look traditional

2 pairs of adicross II here ... Love them. Also a pair of Adizero Sport, great lightweight shoe but wouldn't trust the in muddy areas.

Finally Puma Monolite ... simply the best I've tried so far. Very comfortable, and great grip too.
