Evening

I've been using my spikeless shoes for the last year but with all this wet weather I feel I need a tad more grip. I currently wear adidas gripmore - there a nice fit and remind me of skater shoes from back in the day.

Can anyone recommend me a spiked show that is very similar. I like the look af the Nike golf air rival III

Thanks in advance.

If you like adidas plenty of good deals around just now. The Tour 360's would be a good place to start.

New range of Puma shoes due in January so plenty of bargains to be had there also

The new Tour 360 With boost look good

Puma Ignite tour

All the nke lunar range are good shoes, currently using the 3 model which were half price at D.G a while back

uber comfy .

Yup I agree, I find the Puma range narrow compared to Adidas, I would look closely at the Nike Lunar range, some great deals out there for older but just as good models.

Another vote for Nike Lunar's...I've had a pair of each edition - like slippers. I will be abstaining from the new ones due to the "Ronaldo" swoosh on the toe.

Plenty of bargains out there too

Don't wear anything other than Ecco spikeless all year round. Apart from the very odd occaision when even my partners spikes or cleats also slip they are rock solid. Having the whole of the sole biting on the gorund makes a massive difference.

Cannot work out how spikes are less likely to cause slipping than modern day soles and cleats.

Indeed

I have old shoes with proper spikes and many pairs of modern ones....all of the quality cleated or pimples ones work far better unless there is no grass ie shear clay banks etc

The answer is to avoid such situations not wear spikes. Many courses won't permit them anyway.
