Ryder Cup Winner
Attendances up 11.5% on last year, good to see.
Bound to rise again this coming season with this new team in the top league for the first time 😉

What new team ?.
I would expect the numbers to drop off as the usual two dominate the league

The 'usual two' haven't dominated the league for years
Sevco might be competing with Celtic for #1 spot next season - but not guaranteed. Aberdeen, Hearts and Saints are not that shabby - as much as likes of Saints are thought of as 'diddy' clubs but some.
Just checked the teams that are in the SPL next year and can't see one called Sevco ?
SPFL is actually the best supported league in Europe per head of population

The stat doesn't really tell the truth though (& assuming you've taken the reported 11.5% being just the Premiership)
8 of the 12 clubs in that league had very little change (or were actually down) on the previous season
Total league attendance circa 2.2 million up from circa 1.95million
St Mirren relagated the previous year (with an average attendance only a fifth of the team that replaced them) While Hearts came up and added an additional 250,000 to the contribution by St Mirren the previous year (in other words the entire 11.5% increase)
Spoilsport, with your Clever Trevor facts:lol:
It was the Premiership I alluded to...all these new fangled names confuse me .
I understood much more when division three was division three and not division one.

Interesting read that table, so 7 people in every 1,000 of the population of England attend EPL matches, seems very low. Fair play to Scotland for topping the league table (not something that happend very often!). I've been to one game in last 25 years in Scotland so clearly not helping with stats.
