My thoughts exactly on hearing the news this morning. They are gonna regret getting rid of TP, who IMO should be treated as a god in getting Stoke to the Premiership after so long in the 2nd tier and actually managing to keep them there.

Saw his name mentioned and thought poor Stoke. In fairness he did ok with us at Blackburn but just that ok! He had a decent budget to work with as but didn't really do a lot with it and never really endured himself to us fans. We were happy when he went and when big Sam came who did much more on a lesser budget then came Venkys and it went wrong.
Good luck fighting relegation now he's there no doubt buy some over the hill striker & poor midfielder I hear QPR will be having a clear out of his crap signings so may have some winging your way.

Stoke have probably achieved all they will ever do in the PL, ie survival/ mid table at best, how is Hughes going to improve on that record?

Seen the thread title, read the first post, and couldn't agree more, might stick a cheeky fiver on now for Stoke to go down
He didn't do a bad job at Fulham but I had to laugh when he jumped ship saying he should be in charge of a big club. QPR and now Stoke. That's showing them Sparky! Think Stoke will have a long season next year and will struggle although I think there are enough weak sides that they may be just good enough to survive.
