Hello to any forrummers in the Galway area, am working in Galway over the weekend and have been given a few hours off tomorrow and a tee time at Bearna Golf Club for 11.32.
Just a thought if anyone had time or inclination to join me

Well I guess no one was free, not surprising very short notice

I played and had a lovely round, first taste of conamara grass on the greens, very different to my inland course!! Reminded me of putting on a coir carpet.

Well it was all about a bit of time off and what a friendly little place, three ladies insisted in calling me over to join them and of course I duffed the next two shots

Some fab views from up on the 15th a tricky and varied course. I was blessed with some very un Irish weather and the sun shone.
So all in all a great day, it's not always about the scores after all
