Just in case anyone was still under the impression that football clubs had any morals or loyalty in the boardroom
Southampton have sacked a manager who has taken them to 2 promotions resulting in the club getting to the Premiership, he has them sitting 15th at present with a great chance of staying up, they are playing decent football and very importantly he has pretty much the full backing of the supporters and due to the way the team have been playing obviously the backing of the players
I know there are a couple of Saints fans on here so can any of them shed some light on this? Is there more to it than what there seems? Because as a football supporter I am struggling to get my head round this.
I now hope that they go down, nothing personal to the Southampton supporters but the chairman doesnt deserve a team in the top league with that attitude.
