It seems that when I joined this forum I overloaded it with my posts because I had stuff to talk about.

But now I have learned thats not how you use a forum.

I have P!$$£D a few people off and im sorry for this but now I cant turn back time.

I am now telling you that I am going to limit myself to making a thread every 2 days if I feel like I need to but if I can start again and wipe the slate clean.

I have now seen the error of my ways and im sorry. :o

Post when you've got something to contribute, not just an agreement with an opinion. Sometimes a worthwhile post need only be a few words, sometimes you need almost a page worth.

Re-read your post before you submit it. Nobody spells everything correctly but most of it needs to makes sense. Don't necessarily limit yourself, just join in when you've got something to say.

I never like seeing forum members getting " the rough end of a pineapple" so keep your nose clean and lets see what happens.

Post when you have something interesting to say or ask, you wouldn't say to your mates that you would be limiting what you say as thats just daft. Think about what you are about to post and ask yourself if a bunch of mostly 20,30,40,50,60 &70 year old guys (and gals)are going to be interested in what you are about to post.
Its not the big bad world in here but its not far from it, everyone has different backgrounds (and patience) so most subjects will not interest everyone, maybe some and thats what you have to understand. There arn't many 15 year olds in here (most of us are at least double your age), think of it as chatting to folk in your golf club, bare that in mind when posting and you'll do ok.

MONO, don't be sorry or regret what you've said!
You are a young lad and will say things that will be annoying or will piss some of the members off! If I had joined this forum when I was your age, then I'm sure that I would have offenended or annoyed as many people as you may have, As I'm sure many of the members would agree that they would have at your age!
Just please, please try and understand what I'm about to say.
Chill out! don't post unless you're making positive comment on a thread, stop posting loads of for sale/wanted threads that seem to contradict themselves! Don't try to post to make people happy!
I know that there are a few members who are taking a snidey swipe at you , BUT, keep your head down, relax, and just be yourself!
Although I know that you want to make a good impression, calming down abit will do you more favours than you could believe!
Anyway, relax, enjoy, but never be sorry !

With your persistance it would seem you stil wish to have an active part on the forum. Good for you.

However, as mentioned above, don't rush to get your post count up. Over 100 in a week is ridiculous, considering the vast majority were, well, lets be honest....crap.
Offering to buy and sell gear then not replying to pm's is just plain rude. Constantly bombarding members with pm's is annoying and bound to infuriate members affected.

You're a youngster who obviously seems very keen on the game. Good stuff, but remember there's a wide age range on here. Not many (if any) your age right through to old codgers! Yes, there are some boring old farts too. Some that will never agree with anyone. But on the whole, the vast majority of forum users are good, polite and interesting people from all walks of life.

Post thoughtfully, with care and respect for other members and I'm sure that the people who have blocked you due to your tall tales and unbelievable posts will soon unblock you.
Very soon, if you keep your sensible head on, you will become a most welcome member of the forum.

It takes a big man to say sorry. I'm sure your post will go a long way to make amends for your start to this forum.

I dont see anything you have done which is anywhere near as bad as others posts, your youthful aproach has irritated me but not to the point of giving you a hard time for your youth, honesty and enthusiastic efforts to join in by posting things you may genuinely feel helpful or need answering, if others dont. Dont let anyone mould you on a web site, you are you. there are one or two who owe you an apology rather than you feeling you owe them one, its discraceful the slating you got in the threads without helpful advice or polite discouragement for some things,I am all for humour but what I have seen isnt, I am afraid you will find this kind of thing along with hypocracy at any web site or golf club if you look, but at some clubs you wont even have to look.As far as I have been concerned, you have done me no harm young man, you have not directly offended me, insulted me or slagged me off in open forum, the most you have done is irritate me a little where I just dont read on or I move on. I think being a teen and enthusiastic eludes the memories of some in here at least, but with one or two its just pure petty spite or even nasty. So you carry on for me young falla! you have as much right as anyone in here and until a moderator comes along and addresses you, I say carry on, there are times to eat humble pie, but I dont see this as one of those occasions, but if you do and you feel its the only way to please err people, I respect that.
You show more charactor in here than some. ;)

If there's a user whose posts you really don't care for, click their username and then click 'Ignore user'. Voila! You won't have to put up with them any longer.

I know this forum is supposed to be like a virtual golf club but I didn't think that meant bashing juniors who don't behave "properly"!

I do tend to agree.
Some of the responses the lad has received have made me a little bit ashamed to be honest.
OK if he is a troll, he's had a bloody good run.
But if he's not?
I hope those that have said the things they've said feel justifiably proud of themselves.

Mono I stuck up for you in the past and to be honest mate I can't understand all the rude comments you recieved. People mention that you are posting to older fellas (which is true) but we are responding to a younger fella (alledgedly) so we also need to watch what we are writing, and calling you etc.

There has been a huge band wagon going round that a lot of people have jumped on.

Im my opinion it isn't you pi55ing people off it's everyone else providing the entertainment when they respond to you.

Conclusion...as everyone else has said. Chill out, don't PM people unless you have spesific business with them.

Think about what section your posts are going in.

Read them back and then think.....is it worth posting?

If it is then submit it and we'll all be happy to read and respond.

Hope the whole re-incarnation works out!

Top Man and respect to you. I've given you some advice initially and then some stick later on but you have stepped up and admitted that maybe your style and enthusiasm has rocked the boat a bit. As far as I'm concerned the slate is clean. Don't limit yourself to x number of posts per day or week but just join in if you have a contribution to make. The great thing about this forum is the way it evlolves and moves in different directions and if we get a few more youngsters like yourself it will add a younger dimension. Keep the faith and I'll be chatting to you in the next few days no doubt.
