I own the Sony Xperia Z. The Z1 is the improved version. Its worth it for the waterproof feature alone! Mines been in the sink, a river, covered in beer....

I have the Xperia Z...the first of the waterproof ones and it a great phone. HID is upgrading next month and is gonna get the Z1 compact. THe new z2 is gonna have 4k recording..!

just looked it up, so when is the Z2 out? 4k recording but you can only display on a 1080p TV so maybe too early to adopt

the mobile, laptop, tv world is waaaaaay worse than TM!!! out of date before it even goes on sale, let alone leaves the shop!

I've got the Z and it's a fantastic phone. Video playback is superb, reception is very good to the point I can make a phone call from inside a transport container we use as a store on site, the touch screen is very sensitive and the waterproof function is great. I have taken several photos underwater plus I can use my phone when I'm in the bath!
