Today I popped into ct golf in Orpington, a small independent club workshop that specialises in regrips, re shafts and club alterations such and loft and lie checks etc etc. I've used ct's before with awesome workmanship
Levels and very good rates,

While in the shop another regular pops in with a g15 driver for a regrip and asks while Chris is doing it " this new g25, will it offer me anything else " , the owner of the shop openly admitted that other than 5/6 yards the customer would gain little from the expensive upgrade and he would be better holding he's money for a few more models .... Now given he is a ping, Cally and titlest agent I thought this was rare and honest answer.

I think in the current times it was really nice to hear an honest answer, not great for business but maybe that's what makes he's unique business so stable.

Always good to see in these cut throat times that there are still reputable businesses out there not prepared to relieve a customer of shed loads on false dawns

I've used him for loads bratty, but I made a major booboo the other day letting so some near my grips who made a total pigs ear of it.

I've never seems the shop so busy, and when you see the banter he has with he's customers it's no wonder he is still surviving . A great character

Chris is a great guy and will tell you how it is.

I used to live round the corner from Chris' shop when I was first getting into golf and he was always offering tips and advice on gear and he would give good deals.
