Solihull

I think a Saturday in July might be difficult as so many medals and board comps are now in the calendar at members clubs. Look at some of the big boys in the area such as Belfry, Forest of Arden, The Warwickshire etc, Saturdays shouldn't be an issue with them.

Going on a flooring course in July and looking to play a round with a few lads on the Saturday.
Anyone know any decent courses that way?

Do not go to the belfry on a weekend! even ''DAVEBOY'' will tell you how busy it gets. hense the reason i have a 5 day membership. shirly golf club and copt heath gc are top notch mate. oh, and the earls course at ''the warwickshire'' is the dogs

The warickshire looks a good bet as I thought the kings was pretty top notch, so if the earls is the dogs danglies your laughing whichever you can get fixed up on! :)

And the 600 YRD par 5 with water around the 220 mark off the tee LOL

 Be like me when I played Bondhay GC early into my golfing career, very tough course with water, sand and trees everywhere, stopped scoring the first time I played after 13 holes. Went again 2 years later and shot a 92 when I had finished it felt like I had shot level. Been back fairly recently and shot in the low eighties, If you ever fancy a challenge mate and you are round worksop/whitwell way play it, trust me it is a brute
