Solar panel readings question

Gave me solar panel readings earlier today. Suffice to say with the weather we had in April the return and efficiency of the panels was excellent.
However the guy who I gave the readings to then said, can we make an appointment to send someone out to visually check the boxes readings which a I said "yup no probs" he asked me where my reading box is to get the numbers from and I informed him I have a "sunny beam" Bluetooth box which gets the readings straight from the loft. He then goes onto say that it is illegal to have the reading box in the attic . Eh wtf. He then goes onto say that it is against health and safety for someone to climb a loft ladder to read the box. I told him he don't have to go into the attic he can do the same as me and read the Sunnybox whilst having a cup of tea, and the whole point of me purchasing a sunny beam was so I didn't have to go into the loft.
He was having none of it and told me to contact the installers. I said that they were read two years ago and there was not a problem so why now. What followed was five minutes of me being very close to the edge of "tyrets episode".
anyone know what the official line is on these reading boxes being in the loft please.

I know what you mean about some of the idiots out there. I watched a guy going from door to door a few years back. I answered when he got to our door, at which time he went into a spiel about fire escapes. I asked him if he'd had much success in a road full of bungalows!!

i had no reason to think that anything was wrong with installation, and in essence it's worked fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The fact my brother fitted them who is a registered installer, was/is piece of mind. Why nothing was said last time lord knows. But having a Bluetooth sunny beam sat where I want it as against the reader on a wall made sense. But is it illegal.

re tea thermometer, nah am old Sokol. Boiling water, 3-5 mins of infusion and its choccie hobnob time.
