Looking for a new gilet/vest, I use my Karrimor Fleece gilet on colder days that I also use for walking but not sure its smart enough for the golf course. Not that keen on tank tops, have one but feel a little 'old' in it  anyone bought or seen any decent gilet/vests?

I bought a uniqlo lightweight down gilet a few months ago. It's been the best golf clothing purchase ever.

Very light, slim fit, very soft, "quiet", pretty wind proof. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Does upset the kiddie fashion police in my family, but that further vindicates my faith in it...

I looked at The Galvin Green one but what put me off was no pockets.

I got an Underarmour one in the end its Ok, but sod s law the pockets are crap, if you don't zip them up everything falls out. I've lost my wallet a number of times between the club house and the car.

I wear an Under Armour one in winter and that is very good, lightweight but warm.
