Society - Competition ideas

Hi,
I am starting a new society and wanted to ask if people had ideas on a format for a competition. I'm thinking playing different courses each month from march - october and keeping some sort of ongoing score for a prize at the end, plus individual prizes per month. I also want to give high handicappers a chance and keep them interested also. Any ideas would be so appreciated. I was thinking of a membership fee, and then having a kitty which prizes can be bought and maybe a cash prize after the 8 months. if anybody is involved in something like this or can give ideas of different style of tournaments i would be so grateful.

Stableford for the main event , 1 or 2 shot cut for the winner each time and 1 shot back for those scoring less then 25 points , 2 shots if less then 20 .............if you book a 27 hole package then you can do a team thing on the 9 hole am round , Texas scramble , 2 scores to count in team even , 4BBB or 2 scores to count 1st 3 holes then 3 scores next 3 and so on .............keep it simple and each meet on its own , you can have a running score over many meets but not everyone will attend every meet so you could do say their best 5 scores say over the year ........Gd luck
