the actual facts are very interesting though,all the numbers etc.that itself is interesting enough and bubba's swing is unbelievable.the rotation both get and the arc is unreal,i believe i would actually fall apart if i tried anyhting similar to those.

but then at the other end of the spectrum you have gary woodland who barely swings it to parallel and can make both these players at times look short.

apparently gary woodland can hit a stinger with a 2 iron that carries or has carried 270 yrds.

JO will ya change the record mate , its geting boring , ive stayed out of conversation on the S&T posts because i know jack sh## about it .. one trend i do notice in your replys tho is that everyone else seems to be wrong or talking noncence .. ok we have it by now ok .. you talk some good stuff man but crikey the whole world cant be wrong , i apreciate when guys are advertising stuff they embelish the truth to favour their product etc but these are measured facts they have nothing to gain by making stuff up .. why would they bother making this stuff up ..

Very intresting part i heard in the video tho was about Phil , he was longest off the tee but missed most fairways & still won .. ok not many people have the short game or ball workability of Phil but if he gave up 20 yards for accuracy what would he be capable of shooting i wonder ..

You haven't got a clue what you are talking about, and this has nothing to do with S&T either. If you don't like my posts just don't read them.

What they said on that video simply isn't true.... I know that.. if you knew more then you'd know it too. Now I guess you'll be whinging and asking why it's not true and then I'll have to tell you?....................... when I see bull sh*t I'm allowed to comment.

Get off my back about S&T... I only talk about it cos people like you (who think they know best whilst actually knowing nothing) whinge about it.
 
one thing they were talking about in the studio about phil was that on the range he is accurate,very nice smooth swing and when he gets on the course it becomes his bombs away swing with the driver.trying to drive it as far as possible.

and the downfall is.....he ends up here there everywhere.the most wayward player out there from the tee but boy does he make up for it with the rest of his game.it's true what you say though,if he gave up 20 yrds for accuracy then how good would he be.would be great if we found out but whether he starts hitting more fairways then we will never know.

Firstly if you re read my post i admitted to knowing nothing about S&T & thats why i didnt comment on them threads ,
Secondly i dont read your S&T posts anymore, (i used to with great intrest at the start by the way) not because of the content or my lack of knowledge , its simply because of your lack of acceptance of other peoples opinions , this reply was not about S&T its about your opinion that everyone else is wrong or talking rubbish ..

I replyed saying i noticed a trend in your posts that you seem to think every one else is wrong or talking nonscence & as if you were trying to prove me right you reply starts with "You haven't got a clue what you are talking about"...

I'm all ears with anyone's opinions. Rather than negative I see myself as very positive.. not putting up with things that are wrong. If sports science did a vid about how the Sun goes round the Earth would I be wrong to speak up? Obviously those who think the Earth stays still whilst the Sun pops up every morning would call me negative.

If your reply wasn't about S&T why even bother mentioning it in your first post? because you were trying to bias your opinion using S&T as an example of my character!

Maybe I'm not quite like you... I don't generally agree with stuff just for the sake of it. I'm not a sheep following a group mentality. What was said on the vid is WRONG. That's my opinion. If you disagree and think that it's correct then that's your opinion. We can have both opinions without having to bring our chosen method of swinging a golf club into the equation.
 
Agree that there wasn't much Science on the vid - just a load of measurements. Can't see anything that was actually wrong though; there didn't actually seem to be any opinion at all - except that high swing speed = high ball speed.

What it did show was that there's more than 1 way to skin a cat - or hit it long in this case.

Karl, that 313 is Average. They are probably getting the long ones out about 330-340!

Can't see the point on Mickelson taking anything off it at The Masters. As long as he stays out of the trees (though I remember a magic shot from under them) there's no penal rough, so missing a fairway is no huge penalty. Different story at other places though.

I believe the forsaking of some distance for more accuracy (that does happen with S&T) is more likely to be of benefit to amateurs than Pros - where distance is becoming/has become so important. Too much hard work for me to get out of old habits and into new ones though! And loads of potential to really damage my body too!

Short-knocker Donald is still #1 though!

I know nothing of your charachter or of your qualifications for that matter so i wont comment on that, you are obviously far more professionaly qualified in the art of swinging a club than me & others on here , as i say i was reading all your posts with intrest until the trend of "your wrong" started to be in most of your replys .. i have been corrected numerous times on here since i joined (and i have accepted & apreciated the correction) but it was all done in constructive friendly manner ,

The one thing you are TOTALY 100% correct about tho is you are not like me , maybe luckily for both of us we are from different ends of the spectrum eh .. your upset because you feel i brought your chosen method of swinging a club in to it , i dont get upset even tho im wrong , a whinger , a sheep oh and yea i havent a clue what im talking about acording to you .. You're criticising something that you know nothing about and are just trying to defend your chosen words. If I need to 'change my record' or I'm a bit too 'boring' then (as I said already) just don't read my posts. There's an ignore button and I wouldn't know (or care) if you chose to use it.

If you read my post again I didn't say you were a sheep, I only stated that I wasn't.

I must admit you lost me with the sports science talking about the sun & the moon thingy .. id kinda leave that to astronomy minded people not sports people so id question that myself .. so we agree at last .

but now you have lost me again on the "You're criticising something that you know nothing about"

What have i criticised ? i admitted i was intrested in most of your threads including the S&T ones .. right up to the point wher you just wouldnt listen to others opinions anymore .. you were right they were wrong .. end of ... i have not criricised the content of any of the posts ..

Anyhow we wont get anywhere here, a discussion or a debate much like a forum needs all parties to be open to healthy discussion & debate & respect each others opinions even if the differ from our own ..
We could stay going around in circles here for hours & you & me would be the only 2 reading & contributing to the post .. others can make up their own ideas on who is right or wrong on this ..
we have totaly taken KID 2 thread to a different place , so i can only apologise for that .
