One of our members recently passed away, scratch golfer only 55. One of the guys i play with had know him years and his widow had asked if he would help sorting out his old stuff.

He had quite a big shed and was expecting a fair amount of stuff.....

500 sets of irons including ever set ping has ever made, of which there are 5 brand new beryllium copper eye2 sets.

hundreds of putters, so many he gave up counting.

200 golf bags



so next time you think you have too much stuff, think again, more like you don't have enough

Yes they are going on sale.

I don't know where though, golf bidder was mentioned for the more modern sets and prob auction for the old stuff (hickories)

I've just got rid of a boat load of my stuff but it seems all I needed was a bigger shed!!

Sad news about the person in question and sounds like good golfer and someone who appreciated the game in the right way.

I probably could have spent a good while going through a collection like that!
