Ok, we've just taken a gamble and booked our holiday for 2014. 2 weeks in Perranporth in July/August... Got a beautiful stone cottage, withing 5 minutes walk of Bolingey and only 10 minutes to the beach. 2 weeks of surfing, golfing (Saunton, RND and possibly St Enodoc/Perranporth), diving and drinking.. :D:thup:

Looking out of the window at the rain and cold, I can't wait...

Anyone else got a holiday booked?

Yes...cant wait either...we will stay in Braunton starting from easter to may 4th--for play on saunton--approx 2 1/2 week... second trip booked 3 weeks in sep for play on Saunton--- All is booked--flights, rental car, accomodation and overseas membership...

Any one nearby those times of year can pm and we can see if we can arrange a round together----would be nice to meet forum members for a round and maybee a pint----

probably will also go a weekend in feb to London to visit daughter and see a musical or a match with Chelsea FC--- id just love " We will rock you"

All booked up for early April in Antigua. Will stay in UK for summer hols, nothing booked yet but fancy driving south coast from New Forest over to Kent stopping off anywhere with a bit of character, history and obviously nice pubs en route!
 
Sri Lanka in Feb for two weeks, may just get a round in whilst out there. Cornwall in Sept.

Of the two I personally prefer the idea of Cornwall but the governor says otherwise.

Fyldewhite, I am near Bognor, half way between New Forrest and Kent. If you come down and fancy a game let me know.
 
Bit of a coincidence as we've been looking for our summer holiday today on the web. We've provisionally booked a week in Bude in August camping but we also want a holiday abroad for the middle-end of September.

It's a beautiful part of the country and when the weather is like it was this summer then there's no better place to be.
 
Was going Dubai in March to stay with a cuz - but we've decided that with two at uni we can't stretch - so now hoping to go to South Lake District then instead - another cuz has a beautiful old renovated station house there we can use if they are themselves not using it. Lots of lovely walking in Coniston/Eskdale/Duddon valley area and maybe I'll take my bats - any South Lakes suggestions - Ulverston maybe?

Depends on the adoption process. Wife want to go to San Diego to see her sister. I can't stand her husband (mellowing to her and the kids) but the chance to play Torrey Pines and loads of good courses could be too good to miss
 
...also - Glasgow tomorrow for six days to see my mum - and I'll count that as a holiday as I am apparently not 'Scottish enough' to call it going home.
 
Turkey in August for me and the mrs. 15 years of marriage and it will be our first holidays without any kids, so really cannot wait!
Then a family week at Butlins in Minehead in october, fingers crossed for a pass out for a sneaky 18 holes while were there...
 
Have a week booked at easter in cornwall with the other halfs family and the kids, 2 weeks in corfu in june with the other hals and little one in a fab villa but alas no golf in these breaks. so a long weekend will be booked for may or sept to play either portugal or spain.
 
April off to Marbella for a weeks golf.

June off to castle Stuart Royal Dornoch with the forum and staying for the week.

August a weeks cruise in the fjords.

Looking forward to this years hols.
 
Just booked a weeks AI at a place just to the north of Santa Ponsa for the end of May. Will probably supplement that with a couple of short golf breaks somewhere in UK, Northumberland for one as we loved it and still have courses to play.

Given that we both have less than three hours left as smokers then perhaps we could run to another week in the sun somewhere with what we save :rolleyes:
 
Toss up between Cornwall and Portugal in August. Nothing booked yet. I fancy Portugal but travelling with 2 young kids puts me off a bit. I'm going to book it in the next couple of weeks
