So what's Golf-Santa bringing everyone..?

New pair of FJ AQL shoes and a book (Seve) from the Missus and the boys have got me a nice new bag towel and a bulk bag of wooden tees. I think that's it (golfing wise) unless the good lady has kept anything else from me? But to be honest, with all the new kit I've bought recently I don't think there is anything else I need!

Ogio edge stand bag, apart from that I dont know, there is a AG bag in the wardrobe but the presents in the bag are wrapped.

I've got a new Nike SQ 3 wood as well as two Tottenham Hotspur head covers.... although i'm hoping she's bought me a few more bits.

Just trying to work out how i can sneak a round in on boxing day morning!

A note book laptop. Very small. Perfect for using when I am abroad to keep up with all the chat. (and answering work emails too, booo).

i was lucky enough to be the winning bid on some brand new Nike Air Zoom Elites on ebay for £41 free delivery! they arrived yesterday and are perfect! i already have a pair and now have far to many golf shoes(7 pairs) but at that price(rrp £90-100) what are you going to do! Have told the missus not to bother getting me anything else as have far too much already(bloody ebay!)

Also(and get this) i have been using the same single tee for two weeks shy of a year! I bought a pack in my local tesco's and they are perfect plastic replica's of the standard wooden tees that i have always used. I have now used it for almost a year in every round(at least once a week)and have never lost it!! HOW SAD AM I!! i'm thinking of retiring it...or just keep going!! and they were only 50p!!! ker ching. Think of all those pennies I've saved.

I use white wooden and if the ground is not icy hard a single tee can last me a few months. I only push it in a fraction so it just pops out and lands within a yard normally.

I need some new shoes but I doubt she will have got them, she knows how fussy I am!

I've asked for a whole host of golf related things!

The main request being a Wilson Staff fybrid and a vokey 60 degree wedge.

What I love best about this thread is Tony's confession that he's been rooting through the wardrobe and looking for gifts! This ontop of the images he posted the other week of his chrsitmas present - Hilarious!!!

Well played Tony, never too old to rummage for christmas gifts!

.....as well as two Tottenham Hotspur head covers....

Not fit to line my bin, let alone put on a golf club, even your clubs :p

I've got a new Cobra LDF 3 wood on its way from my very generous brother (combined bday/ xmas gift). Wifey made a visit to AG and purchased something - not sure what. Already received some cash from my dad, waiting for the sales, maybe a new Clicgear push cart or a Gokart in the offing depending on sale prices and how I feel. Can't decide whether to go push or leccy!

Last year wifey got me a pack of those ultra lift tees. Perfect height for my driver, have used the same one pretty much every round since when driving. Love it, it only flies a couple of yards at most, and easy to spot. Did have some probs putting it in the frosty ground the other week though, had to pre-pore using a wooden tee.

I thought it would be a good idea to use my account basket at Golfonline to put in all the stuff i would like either for xmas or beyond. Included was a Cally squareway 7 wood, a Odyssey putter (£155 ish), a Nike gortex suit, a nike jumper
and some other odd bits. I then told my girlfriend/son that they could surpise me by using my log on to see what i wanted and buy me some or all of the items listed. I thought she would then use her own log on to order them. She changed the payment details and delivery address but then i got an e-mail from the site telling me that the Jacket of the suit i wanted (not the trousers!) and the Nike jumper were being dispatched.
I think that idea backfired a bit. Will have to remember to look surpised xmas morning. :o

Nothing, nowt, zippo squat. Got all the kit I need including more premium balls than I'm likely to lose in the next 5 seasons. Money running a bit tight so HID and I are doing a very restrained (one pressie each) Christmas until she gets another job. In a way I'm actually enjoying it more without having to run the gauntlet of the Christmas shoppers or worrying about how to repay my extravagences.

My golfing cupboard already runneth over and as long as I can find my membership in March I'm a happy camper.

Got me a Mizuno Raw Haze Wedge (although that was technically Parmo.

The rest god knows hopefully some books HID keeps saying she is buying me a mobile (boooo!)

I purchased 500 "natural" coloured wooden tees off of ebay the other week as I didn't have any jumbo sized ones for bigger headed woods.
In the last two rounds I've lost one of every tee.....bloody greenkeeper has surrounded every winter tee with wood chippings.
Knew I should have ordered pink

I've recently bought the 3 wood, quality piece of kit. Every bit as long as my driver.

Hopefully i'll be getting some new waterproofs.

well, i treated myself to a set of AP2's that arrived last weekend :D

HID has supplied me with a Ogio Grom bag to keep the new sticks in, but I think that is all the golf related stuff i am likely to acquire.

sounds like between us lot tho, we are keeping the golf industry from feeling the recession too much
