It was unbelievable today. Playing at St Andrews this morning and we were all in short shirt sleeves with the sun on our backs. It is hard to believe that the clocks change next weekend and in two weeks time the Winter League starts.

Full wet weather (monsoon) gear for about 5 holes, then really sunny and warm.

Played yesterday and this morning, expecting to get a soaking on both days.

Yesterday was polo shirts all the way.
This morning, after a downpour half an hour before tee-off, it was a mix of polo shirt and jumper, can't believe how it stayed dry.

We were off at 8.30 this morning and polo shirts were the order of the day. No rain at all and bright sunshine from 11.00 onwards.

Yesterday, waterproof and brolly the whole round in Kent. Soaked right through. WOn my matchplay though so was worth it in the end.

Full waterproofs and cowering under a brolley while we waited for a thunderstorm to pass before we teed of in our match then t-shirt after the fourth hole as it was so warm and sunny for the rest of the round.

Nice pair of Ping striped trousers and grey and black Ping top. Shame they were covered up by waterproofs most of the round. Played mediocre but driving poor. The greens at Epsom are superb but impossible to putt on. Makes the Himalayas practice green at St Andrews look flat. My first putt on the 1st almost came back to my feet. Up at 10 on the stump too

We got as far as the first green, and then there was forked lightning right over head, massive simultaneous clap of thunder, and the rain banged down.

Back to the club house sharp ish.

I drove over to my friend's on Saturday morning to pick up two of them for a round on Saturday morning. One of them came sauntering down wearing a white under armour with a black polo over the top and black trousers. Nothing wrong with that. Except I was wearing a white under armour, with a black polo and black trousers...

It's the first time in my life I've understood how ladies feel when someone wears the same outfit as them! :rofl:
