So what clothing do you wear when playing in the colder months?

Sweaters, Trousers, Shoes, Hats, Wind-Proofs, Base Layers etc etc etc???
Christ this golf lark is going to clean me out haha...

Waterproofs, Under Armour baselayer and Under Armour Hand warmer.

Plus the usual shirt, jumper, trousers affair.

Oh and maybe an extra pair of socks.

I wear an under armour base layer, a think roll neck and a woollen jumper or swap the rol neck for a golf shirt. I try to have a few layers rather than anything too bulky. I'll put a wooly hat on and use my mitts to keep my hands warm between shots. I usually keep the legs warm with my waterproof trousers although I got a pair of lined golf trousers from Glenmuir which are awesome for when it's really cold. I try not to put a jacket on unless I have to as I find them restrictive

Leopard skin Speedo's and flip flops cause we're tough up here :)

The worrying thing is, I don't actually think your joking!!!

This is a picture of Steve on Irvine beach after our recent trip to Dundonald Links!!!

You didn't get my good side there mate, well disappointed :o

Technical base layer, fleece (Patagonia R2), wind stopper smock and if it's wet or really cold, waterproof jacket, overtrousers, wooly hat and mitts.

oh yeah!....and a grin, because I would still prefer to be out there than sat in front of the telly! :D

:D It seems to be the further south you are, the more you wear in winter. I put a jumper on if it is really cold. I have never worn anymore than that unless it is raining or snowing, then I'll wear a jacket.

Stubbert base layer and a Tshirt unless its lashing down, then I dawn a sleeveless wind beater. Rarely break out the jacket though got a new GM Galvin Green one this year (cheers mike) which fits well, will be using it more.

I have several diff base layers to pic, then wollen jumpers, good trousers, possibly the galvins too, have some cracker mits also, have to keep the hands warm! :)

Generally just wear a thick Cotton Traders roll neck under a long sleeve polo shirt and a sweater if really cold. Mind you, not experienced the real Northern weather for a few years so looking for a waterproof suit for Goswick.

Base layer under a normal polo shirt, then a fleece on top. I break out the mitts if its really cold but that's about it unless its lashing down (fleece is rainproofish)

Under Armour, a tee shirt or polo shirt, Ping fleece and waterproof jacket and waterproof troosers.

If it's really cold I'll put a heat patch on the base of my spine otherwise I'll be disabled by the end of the round.
